Absolutely. I walk the dog at least twice a day and it's the perfect opportunity to think, create and solve. This, and walking around a city with a camera in hand, are two of my favourite things.

Thank you, Andrew. We live in the same universe :) That pond between us has never been a barrier.

Fantastic stuff. I greatly enjoy walking and hiking and it does offset the onerous drag-down of having a sit down job. Another great post Alex my man!

Yes, definitely in black and white. On film, obviously.

Thank you. Part 2 will be in color. I hope it won't irk you too much :)

Great. It's true, that I feel left out from your list of famous walkers, but that's a minor criticism. I assume you'll remedy that in Part II...

Thank you, Mark. Will try to remedy my mistake.

A topic I had on my list to write about one day too. But yours is excellent so I will not try myself. And of course I agree to it, walking really helps to get not only the body but also the mind in motion. My best ideas came while on a walk.

Thank you, Susanne! And i urge you not to abandon the topic. I would love to see your take on it. The same topic can be looked at from different angles. As an excellent photographer, I’m sure you know that. 😊

Thanks, Alex! Very kind to say that. We will see! It is definitely a topic close to heart!

I loved reading this Alex, it resonates with me a lot. Coincidentally reading it just after a long photo-walk in the Adelaide Hills where I will often go to clear up the noise in my head. 📷🙂
