Last week
wrote a really cool post, offering quotes on sharpness, or lack thereof, by photography luminaries, and posting his own perfectly blurry photos.I’m reading the The Daybooks of Edward Weston (thanks to Susanne of
, who recommended the book), so Weston’s quote is especially poignant for me.I accepted perfectlight’s challenge and mustered up the courage to post some of my own recent blur. Hope you enjoy.

Completely agree! When HD came out it really upset me. I didn't want to watch movies in hyper sharpness, especially old black and white one. What do they think the vaseline on stars lenses was for?
