Glad to see you are a fellow Nick Cave fan. I've got tickets to see him in Cardiff in November. Which is a relief - last time I was due to see him that pesky Covid scuppered our plans.
Thanks for your comment, Andrew. I'm a huge Cave fan and saw him (sans the Bad Seeds) with Colin Greenwood in Brooklyn last year. He was fantastic. I really want to see him with his band, so hopefully I'll get my wish on their Wild God tour. I agree with Matt Berninger of The National, who said: "Nick Cave is the best living songwriter. And I’m aware Bob Dylan is still alive." Maybe I wouldn't go that far -- Dylan is (or was) God. But Nick cave is way, way up there. And he's a great dramatic writer too.
Nick Cave and Colin Greenwood together must have been an amazing gig. Yes Cave is a brilliant writer. Do you read The Red Hand Files? He is so articulate and empathetic.
And I love the National. I’m seeing them in the summer (also in Cardiff).
Yes, it was a great show in a fairly small, but beautiful theater.
I am a big fan of The Red Hand Files, and I just listenend to the audiobook of Faith, Hope, and Carnage (the interviews with Sean O'Hagan), which was also great. I'm sure you're familiar with all the documentaries Andrew Dominik made about Cave; if you're not, check out One More Time with Feeling. It's terrific!

Ditto - had tickets for Dublin ...

Oh yes, I’m familiar with all the documentaries!
Great stuff Alex and I also can't wait for the new Cave album!
Thank you, Richard. You're a real poet, I'm just visiting :)
